I fAiLeD... :(

So it hasn't even been a week...and what happened...I failed. I got stressed, upset, overwhelmed, and then?!?!?!...I gave in to FOOD. The kids were being naughty...stressing me out...whining...and pouting...and we were getting dinner quick at Wendy's...I was just going to get a crispy chicken sandwich...then I saw it...a FROSTY!!! YUM...I've wanted ice cream or a shake for awhile now...and just kept telling myself I didn't need it...it wasn't good for me...and I could find something else. But tonight...I gave in...I caved...I failed. :( Ugh...now I feel more upset, gross, and bummed.
BLAH...just had to be accountable for what I did and come clean...cuz I shouldn't have done it...but I did...BOO :(

Oh Becki! Wendy's Frosty's are very hard to say "no" to. don't beat yourself up about it. It's like Todd tells me every time I get upset and lose my cool with the kids, "take it one day at a time, you are doing better today than you did yesterday." Your doing great!

Oh hey just a suggestion: Issue a challenge to all your followers! That way you will have all of us to support you. Like no fried food this week, or more positive; drink 64 oz of water everyday, make it fun! I know I'm up for some challenges and need the lift too!

I love those frosties! I'm with Lilly on not beating yourself up about it. Maybe tell youself you "slipped up" instead of "failed?" Or maybe allow yourself one stress treat a week or something? You're doing SO great!! I'm so impressed with all of your efforts!

When faced with those challenges, think about what you want and how you'll feel after! Really, I'd just avoid fast food restaurants altogether. Me, I'm too cheap to buy a $4.99 salad, and you'd have to skip the dressing anyhow, but the fried chicken sandwiches aren't great either. When your family needs a quick meal, have sandwiches at home. Or if you HAVE to, get the kids something and you wait until you get home. Sometimes it's completely unavoidable, but the cravings will leave your system the longer you avoid it.

But, now that Frosty is in the past! You can move forward! You're going to do great!

I like Lilly's comment about the challenges. There are probably a lot of challenge sites out there. Here's one: http://www.marksdailyapple.com/weekly-health-challenge/. You could write down a bunch of their challenges that you like, and then do them yourself on your blog. :)

Becki, I do weight watchers and I look forward to my treats, I fit them in and still lose weight. If you deprive yourself you'll never stick with it. Just fit them in, I love my couple times a month blizzard. And I enjoy every second of eating it. Don't beat yourself up, you're doing great!

Becki, you did not fail! You enjoyed a treat, and it could have been much worse! Just pick yourself up and work doubly hard. We had a great Zumba last night, so that was in exchange for the frosty. You are doing great!!
